Sharon Marchant of Wallaceburg

Sharon-Marchant-1471186896Sharon Jean Marchant of Wallaceburg ON (formerly Saskatoon SK) passed away suddenly on Thursday August 11, 2016 at the age of 67.

She leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 41 years Terry Vanidour, her son Graeme (Tammy) Vanidour, sister Christina Marchant (Greg Kelly) and grandchildren Natalie, Cameron, and Kyle. Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Clayton Morin and Audrey Marchant.

Sharon retired from Walmart, but had a long career as a seamstress and worked at Mikado Silk. She enjoyed a variety of arts and crafts, such as quilting, sewing, and cooking. She loved to be in or near the water, and most of all loved being with her family.

Sharon and Terry were enjoying their retirement one day at a time. She loved driving along the St. Clair Parkway, stopping for a picnic or fries along the way, picking up fresh produce at the many local vendors, and cherished their winters together in Panama City Beach Florida.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 12:30 – 1:30 with the memorial service to start at 1:30 PM on Thursday, August 18.
