Harry Tuckwell, a resident of Dresden passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg at the age of 84.
Born in Dresden, son of the late Kenneth and Phyllis (Gibson) Tuckwell. Harry was a crane operator. He enjoyed woodworking, colouring, golfing, curling and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Beloved husband of Norma (Carther) Tuckwell. Loving dad and and grandpa of Dan & Daunne Tuckwell, their children: Jennifer Muise, Jason Tuckwell and Josh Tuckwell; Brad & Karen Tuckwell, their children: Jess & Brandon Doom, Adam Tuckwell and Justin Tuckwell; Heather & Curtis Babula, her children: Hannah Duford and Ashley Duford; Scott Tuckwell, his children Kristen Tuckwell and Sarah Tuckwell. Sadly missed by his great grandchildren Ethan Muise, Cameron Muise, Conner Doom, Caleigh Doom, Camden Doom and Michael Hamlin.
Dear brother and brother-in-law of Shirley & Carl Hasson, Gerald Tuckwell and Al Bechard. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Kathryn Bechard and sister-in-law Maxine Tuckwell.
At Harry’s request there will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lambton-Kent Memorial Arena on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Private Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
