Ronald Michael Russell of Wallaceburg died peacefully with his family at his side in Sarnia on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the age of 48.
Ron was a former All-Star Lacrosse goalie with the Wallaceburg Griffins and the Wallaceburg Red Devils.
Beloved son of Doreen Murphy (Tom) and Ron Russell (Lynn Labadie). Father of Ethan Glenn. Loved brother of Renee Russell (Mary Ann), Amanda Murphy (Chris), Brenda LeClair (Ron), Jeff Murphy (Charity), Debb Rogers (Keith), Rosa Murphy (Eddie), Greg Labadie (Lee Ann), Kari Den Boer (Richard) and the late Michael Russell (1976) and stepfather to Tyler, Samantha and Morgan.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 1-3 PM on Thursday, March 23 with the funeral to follow at 3 PM Thursday. Interment in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
