A crash involving a farm tractor and a vehicle in Lambton County has turned fatal.
OPP officials say on November 1, at 6:50 p.m. officers attended a serious collision on Forest Road between Aberarder and Chalk Lines in Plympton Township.
OPP officials allege preliminary investigation has revealed that a farm tractor had been travelling north bound on Forest Road when it was struck from behind by a passenger vehicle that was also traveling in a northerly direction.
As a result, the driver of the passenger vehicle sustained serious life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
Unfortunately, Russell John Hierons, 48 years-of-age of Bosanquet Township, died on Thursday morning as a result of the collision.
The OPP, in consultation with Coroner’s Office continue to investigate.
