A speed measuring device was seized during a traffic stop on the 401 on the weekend.
Chatham-Kent OPP officials say on November 4, at approximately 4:15 p.m., an officer was on general patrol, on Highway 401 near Kennesserie Road.
Police officials say the officer observed a vehicle allegedly committing a traffic violation.
The vehicle was stopped and upon further investigation, the driver, a 44-year-old LaSalle man was charged with Drive Motor Vehicle with Speed Measuring Warning Device contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
The man faces a future court date.
