Rainfall warning issued across Chatham-Kent

A rainfall warning has been issued across Chatham-Kent, as rain, at times heavy, is expected.

Forecasters say rain will begin late this evening and end late Saturday night.

Total rainfall amounts of 50 to 60 millimetres are expected with this event.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads.

If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.

Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
