A fundraiser is set to take place on Saturday, March 10 at the Moose Lodge in Wallaceburg, with proceeds going towards the family of Tucker Marcolin.
The 3-year-old Wallaceburg boy was injured after being attacked by two dogs in Jaycee Park in Wallaceburg back on February 5. More details about the incident can be read, here.
Dan Robinson, who is organizing the fundraiser, told the Sydenham Current he wanted to do something to help.
“I have dogs, and kids and grand kids… this really hit my heart,” Robinson said.
The event will run from approximately 4 p.m. until close at the Duke Street establishment.
Robinson says four or five bands will be performing during the event, including the Southwind Buoys and Groove Noodles.
Admission is $10 at the door and there will be multiple raffles and draws taking place at the event.
All of the proceeds are going towards the Marcolin family.
