Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on Tuesday night around 6:30 p.m. emergency crews responded to the report of a body in the Thames River in Chatham.
The body was recovered and the 70-year-old Chatham man was identified.
A post-mortem was conducted yesterday in Windsor.
His death is not believed to be suspicious, police say.
