Tartan girls compete in Lady Crusader hockey tournament

The Wallaceburg Tartans girls hockey team competed this week in the Lady Crusader High School Hockey Tournament in London, Ontario.

The Tartans faced off against Guelph in their first game on Tuesday.

Guelph drew first blood, but the Tartans came back strong scoring eight unanswered goals, earning themselves the win.

In their second game, Wallaceburg played against St. Catharines.

The Tartans skated away with a 4-1 victory to finish day one of the tournament.

Wallaceburg played Palmerston on Wednesday morning and captured a 2-1 win.

The victory pushed the team into the semi-finals, where they met London.

After a hard-fought game, and a goal that was called off, the Tartans fell by a score of 2-1.
