B&E in Bothwell

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Just after 5 a.m. this morning, unknown suspects forced their way into a business on Main St. in Bothwell.

The suspects backed a vehicle into the door way to gain entry.

Once inside, the suspects stole a large amount of lottery tickets and some cash.

Please be advised on Saturday July 20, Chatham-Kent Police Service at 24 Third St will be having maintenance done at its front entrance.

The front entrance will have limited to no access by the public between the hours of 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime yesterday morning, unknown suspects forced their way into a Church on Victoria Ave in Chatham.

The suspect broke a rear door to gain entry.

Once inside, the suspects stole large electronics and laptops.

Traffic enforcement

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, officers on general patrol conducted a traffic stop on King Street East in Chatham.

The driver of the vehicle was issued a number of tickets under the Highway Traffic Act, Compulsory Automobile insurance act and Cannabis Control Act.
