Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday morning an officer on general patrol in Chatham located a male on Grand Avenue who was known to have a warrant for mischief.

The 19-year-old male was arrested and transported to police headquarters to be held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday morning police responded to a break and enter at a residence on Talbot Trial in Romney Township.

A shed was entered on the property and various tools were taken.

There are currently no suspects.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday morning police responded to a break and enter at a residence on Queen Street in Wallaceburg.

The garage was entered on the property and taken from inside was various tools. There are currently no suspects.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday afternoon an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a male on Murray Street who was known to have a warrant for breaching his recognizance.

The 36-year-old male was arrested and transported to police headquarters.

The male was later released with a future court date.

Bail violations

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday evening an officer attended a residence on Wellington Street in Wallaceburg and upon investigating found a male to be breaching his conditions by being outside his residence while under house arrest.

The 48-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and transported to police headquarters to be held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Bail violations

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday evening an officer attended a residence on Westcourt Blvd. in Wallaceburg and found a male to be breaching his conditions not to attend the residence.

The 47-year-old male was arrested.

Upon arrest the male was found to be in possession of ammunition which was also found to be a breach of his conditions.

The male was transported to police headquarters and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early Saturday morning police responded to a break and enter at a residence on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg.

The detached garage on the property was entered and taken from inside was a Red 2000 Polaris Scrambler ATV.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.
