Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning an officer on general patrol in Chatham located a male on Queen Street who was known to be wanted for breaching his recognizance in regards to a curfew condition.

The 52-year-old male was arrested and transported to police headquarters.

The male was remanded in custody pending a future court date.

Woman arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning a female attended police headquarters to turn herself in on a warrant for facilitating in a breach.

The 33-year-old female was arrested and later released with future court date.

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police responded to a break and enter at a residence on Murray Street in Wallaceburg.

Sometime since Friday morning a shed was entered on the property and taken was a 2002 Yamaha Warrior Quad Runner, 350cc and blue in colour.

There are currently no suspects.

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon police responded to a break and enter at a residence on John Park Line in Wallaceburg.

Sometime since Wednesday a shed was entered on the property and various tools were taken.

There are currently no suspects.

Bail violations

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening police responded to a call on Keil Drive in Chatham.

A male was identified on scene and found to be breaching his recognizance as he was on house arrest.

The 23-year-old male was arrested and transported to police headquarters were he is to be held pending a bail hearing.

Liquor Licence Act

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening an officer on general patrol in the area of Talbot Trial in Harwich Township located a male sitting by the road.

In speaking with the male the officer determined that the male was intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

The 63-year-old male was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and transported to police headquarters where he was held until sober.

Liquor Licence Act

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening an officer on general patrol in Wallaceburg located a male in the area of Elgin Street and Selkirk Street.

Upon speaking to the male the officer determined that the male was intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

The 36-year-old male was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place and transported to police headquarters where he was held until sober.
