Donations & volunteers still needed for the Salvation Army

The Salvation Army of Chatham-Kent’s annual Christmas Kettle campaign is in full swing across the community.

Dana Haggith caught up with Captain Karen Holland to discuss the need for donations and volunteers in Wallaceburg and all across Chatham-Kent.

Here is a graphic posted recently by the Salvation Army in Chatham-Kent, showing the utilization of their services across Chatham-Kent last year:

The Salvation Army’s fundraising goal this year is $480,000.

The fundraising targets included the kettles and the mail-outs as well.

The campaign will be running in Chatham, Blenheim, Ridgetown and Wallaceburg:

– Chatham – November 14 to December 24

– Wallaceburg – November 21 to December 24

– Blenheim – November 27 to December 7

– Ridgetown – December 9 to December 24

The Salvation Army is still in need of kettle volunteers as well for the fonal two weeks of the campaign.
