Ruth Charletta Murphy of Port Lambton passed away peacefully surround by family at home on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the age of 86.
Ruth is the daughter of the late George Fuller& Elizabeth Livonia (Kendall) Norman also the late Jean Norman.
Beloved wife of George Murphy and the late Sonny Roberts (1968). Loving mother of George Roberts, Terryann Murphy, Michael Murphy (Renee), Richard Murphy (Heather), Randy Murphy (Caroline), and Rodney Murphy.
Dear grandmother of Zackary, Abbygail, Nicklas, Katrina, Craig, Chris, Keith, Melissa, Dayna, Jules, Stephanie, Michael, Jessica, Kyle. Sister of the late William ‘Bill’ Norman, Mary Lou Brooks (Clive) and step-sister of Wayne Turner (Mary Sue). A member of Port Lambton United Church, Ruth was a caring, loving, giving and compassionate person who farmed in Port Lambton for most of her life.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 4 – 7 PM on Monday. The funeral will be celebrated at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 23 at 1 PM. A time of fellowship and refreshment to follow at the Cavanagh Reception Centre.
A private Interment in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
