Angela Joyce Peters, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the age of 68.
Angela is the daughter of the late Louis and Ireta (Blackbird) Williams.
Loving companion of Lonnie Shipman and wife of the late Clark Peters Sr.
Loving mother of Ireta ‘Renee’ Williams (Guy Bennett), Clark Peters Jr., Kennedy Fisher Valerie Blackbird and the late Dannette Huff and John Peters. Grandmother of Colton, Raven, Louie, Guy, Angie and Darcelle and great grandmother of many great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ted, Bobby (Myra), Peggy, Brenda, Christine (Silas) and Adam John and the late Louis Jr, Roly, Jerry and Peggy. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Walpole Island Evangelistic Centre, 156 Dan Shab Road on Thursday from 4 – 7 PM.
The funeral will be celebrated at the church on Friday, June 28 at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery. Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg entrusted with the arrangements.
