Ella was an avid reader, whom loved sharing her knowledge and lending a hand, especially to those in need.

She enjoyed spending her days outside in the garden, at the cottage, on the beach and most importantly she loved and cared for her family.

She loved decorating her home and especially loved decorating her classroom, at D.A Gordon in Wallaceburg and Devine Public School in Sarnia, where she taught so many wonderful students, and was the best at it!

She had an incredibly huge heart.

Ella was smiling until she left to be an angel, Mom was an angel on earth and now in Heaven.

She was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of person.

A special thank you to Vision Nursing home for all their love, care and compassion that they showed.

Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with Words of Remembrance for Ella at 2:00 p.m.
