Some local women got pampered on Saturday night at the Intrigue Hair Lounge in Wallaceburg, all in support of a Dresden couple.
Shayne Knight and Kaitlyn Charbonneau lost all of their belongings in a house fire last month.
The couple is also expecting their first child in June.
After hearing about the news from one of her clients, hair stylist Ashley Oughtred decided to set something up to raise some funds.
The idea turned into a spa night, which was held on Saturday Mar. 1, with all the proceeds going to the young couple.
When it was all said and done, $900 was raised.
“All and all a great success,” Oughtred said. “We had a great group come out to enjoy a night of pampering while supporting a sweet young couple. With the help of Nick Cadotte from Little Caesars. We came up with a ladies night out. The ladies enjoyed a mini spa night, great food and laughter.”
