Police helping to locate Lev Tahor children

1508638_783914721625818_1193579078_nThe Chatham-Kent Police Service continues to assist Children’s Services regarding an Apprehension Order issued March 06, 2014 in Chatham.

Police have attended known residences of Lev Tahor members looking for the children who are subject of the Apprehension Order.

Of the 14 children named in the Apprehension Order, 12 have left the country.

Police continue to work with Children’s Services in an attempt to locate the remaining two children. As of this date, no one has been apprehended.

Police are also consulting with domestic and international agencies along with the Crown Attorneys’ Office to determine if any violations of provincial and/or federal statutes may be applicable.

The Chatham-Kent Children’s Services continues to be the lead agency of this investigation.
