The Skating Clubs of the Kent Region Skating Council will be hosting the Bernie Deveau / Bert Winfield Synchronized Skating Invitational Competition at the Lambton-Kent Memorial Arena in Dresden, ON on Saturday, March 29th and Sunday March 30th, 2014.
The competition will run from noon-9:30 pm on Saturday, and from 9-1 pm on Sunday.
Admission cost will be $5.00 at the door, which will open 1 hour ahead each day.
Teams from all across Ontario, 54 in total, will be participating, including the “Maple Ice Crystals” from Chatham, “Patterned Energy” from Tilbury, and “Bothwell Blades” from Bothwell. As well, teams from Glencoe, Watford, Ilderton and Windsor will contribute to the approximately 740 skaters of all ages that will be taking part.
All proceeds will go to support 6 of the local Skating Clubs of the Kent Region Skating Council.
