The Walpole Island-Algonac ferry service is not running once again.
The reason the service is docked is due to “ice in the river” and “unforeseen circumstances at the U.S. dock.”
This is according to a voice mail message from Walpole-Algonac Ferry Ltd.
On their website, it reads that the ferry service is “temporarily suspended” and “an update will be provided once service has resumed.”
