Remembering those who died at work

The National Day of Mourning is held annually on April 28th across Canada.

It is a day set aside to remember those who have lost their lives in workplaces across Canada.

It is also a day to pay tribute to those who live with the effects of a workplace injury or illness and who strive to move their lives forward.

It is also a time for us to reflect and honour the many families and friends who have been deeply affected by work related incidents

The Chatham-Kent Day of Mourning Recognition Ceremony will be held as follows:
