Baldoon Golf Club in Wallaceburg is gaining quite a positive reputation for their event hosting and their catering services as well.
After the recent Business Excellence Awards for the Wallaceburg and District Chamber of Commerce, the chair of the event Barb Mccaughrin said Baldoon “is the place to hold your event.”
Melissa Gaylard, general manager at the club, said they can accommodate any size of group
“The banquet room is always available for rental for any group size and we work with any budget,” she said. “We can customize menus, we’re very flexible. Our staff is always here to help in any we can.
Melissa said there are many types of events that can be held.
“A lot of people don’t realize some of the things we can do,” she said. “We do a lot of showers, baby showers, wedding showers, birthday parties, it’s not just wedding receptions. We do family get together, anniversaries, all that kind of stuff. We can even do a golf outing, if you want to do a family barbecue, with some golf included.”
For those people hosting their own events, the Baldoon staff will come directly to them through their catering service.
“We do a lot of business lunches, continental breakfasts can be prepared and delivered for any group size,” Melissa said. “Lunches, we have all kinds of working lunch packages, working breakfast packages, everything comes disposable. It’s a simple drop-off, we’ll set you up.
Melissa said they will bring their catering service all over.
“We just did one in Blenheim, we have another coming to North Buxton,” she said. “We can accommodate any group size… from four, to 40 and we’ve done up to 200. We mostly do drop and sets. We’ll set it up for you and walk away. We can have our servers stay there if you need us to. We can do in-house dinners… we catered a birthday party at someones house, and we took care of all the service while we were there, cleaned up before we left.”
Melissa added Baldoon has many different catering packages available and they will do free quotes as well.
