Jail time ordered after fatal 2010 incident at the CBD

Chatham Court House (1)

A fatal incident back in 2010 in Wallaceburg, has led to jail time for a Mooretown man.

Nathan Keith Raaymakers, 34, will serve 30 days in jail on weekends, for his part in the death of Sarnia resident Steven Switzer.

Back in April 2010, Switzer was found on the ground outside the CBD Club in Wallaceburg with serious injuries to his head.

He died two days later in a London hospital.

He was 25.

Reports say Raaymakers acted on his own to help an employee at the Club remove a guest from the bar who was intoxicated.

Charges against a bar employee had already been withdrawn.
