The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a traffic complaint in Wallaceburg earlier this week.
On June 3, 2014 CKPS officers were called to assist OPP with trying to stop a man driving a motorcycle in the area of Base Line and Irwin Road in Wallaceburg.
Officers attempted to initiate traffic stop however the man failed to stop and evaded police by travelling at a high rate of speed through a field and using the rail road tracks.
Through investigation, officers identified the driver and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Last night, officers located the man on Gillard Street and he was arrested.
A 45 year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with flight from police.
He has been released from custody with conditions pending a future court date.
