A 20-year-old Walpole Island man will be back in court this week, as he remains in custody charged with attempted murder.
Taylor Ermitinger will appear in a Chatham court on Tuesday, June 10 to be spoken to.
Ermitinger is charged in connection with an alleged altercation between two men in Wallaceburg on May 20.
Police say a 19-year-old man was transported to the Sydenham Campus after the incident with life threatening head injuries.
He remains in critical condition in London.
Ermitinger was denied bail last week.
Details of his bail hearing are protected by publication ban.
A second person charged in the case, 18-year-old Wallaceburg resident Jessy Elder, will appear in court on Thursday, June 12 for a bail hearing.
Elder is facing two counts of obstructing police and one count of being an accessory to the crime.
Elder has already had his bail hearing moved to different dates on two separate occasions.
