An update was provided at council last night about the Lou Stonehouse Walkway in Wallaceburg, more commonly known as the walking bridge.
Stephen Jahns, manager of infrastructure and engineering, said they are about 10 days off the pace at this point.
“We’re in a position to be tender ready by the beginning of July,” Jahns said, adding they are taking the necessary steps to get the project done.
“It’s a complex project,” Jahns said.
A meeting with the contractor is in the works, Jahns added.
