Next Saturday is National Aboriginal Day, and in recognition of that observance, students, staff and volunteers at St. Elizabeth Catholic School hosted a mini Powwow with members of the Walpole Island First Nation.
“We are honoured that we have this opportunity to share the beauty of the First Nations culture with our school community,” says Luana Sfalcin, Principal of St. Elizabeth Catholic School. “We offer a warm welcome to our friends from Walpole Island, who will be guiding and assisting us with our event.”
