Firefighters being honoured for years of service

On Wednesday, June 25, 2014, the Ontario Fire Marshal will be presenting Long Service Medals and Bars to firefighters from Chatham-Kent, Lambton and Essex Counties. The Investiture will be held at the Holiday Inn & Suites Ambassador Bridge, 1855 Huron Church Road, Windsor, Ontario.

The Ontario Fire Services Long Service Medal is awarded to Fire Service personnel who have attained 25 years with the Fire Service. Firefighters who have served 40, 45 or 50 years will also be recognized at the Investiture with a long service bar.

Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services would also like to acknowledge the firefighters from Chatham-Kent who have served 30 or 35 years and who will receive Provincial long service bars at a later date.
