UPDATE: A post mortem was conducted on a deceased 83-year-old male at the London Health Sciences Centre on Thursday the 26th of June 2014. As a result the investigative team has deemed the death not to be suspicious.
On Wednesday the 25th of June 2014 at around 3:15 p.m. Chatham Kent Police, Fire and EMS responded to a home on 13th Line Blenheim regarding a possible sudden death.
A 83 year old male was found deceased and an 85 year old woman was found in medical distress.
The woman was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
The incident is still under investigation however it does not appear suspicious at this time.
A post mortem is scheduled for the 26th of June 2014 for the deceased male.
