Shots fired at two vehicles in Thamesville

On the 28th of June 2014 on or between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. two unoccupied vehicles were shot with a firearm in the area of Ann Street in Thamesville.

Chatham-Kent Police were contacted and information led police to another Thamesville address where a 27 year old man was arrested.

A search warrant was obtained by the Major Crime Section and a firearm was recovered.

As a result the suspect was charged with mischief under $5,000 X2, using a firearm in the commission of an offence X2, careless use of a firearm X2, disobey court order and criminal harassment.

The male was held for a bail hearing.
