The Wallaceburg Red Devils were ousted from the playoffs tonight, as the Windsor Clippers hung on to a 13-11 victory in the fifth and deciding game of their Ontario Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse League playoff series.
The Red Devils had been up 2-0, but the Clippers stormed back to take the final three games of the series.
The Red Devils were led by Dan Charlton, who had 7 points, one goal and six assists.
Kevin Conroy had 4 goals and 2 assists.
Evan Mathany and Mike Myers also scored a pair for Wallaceburg.
Eric Shepley was tagged with the loss, giving up four goals on 15 shots.
Wallaceburg was out-shot 46-29 in Game 5.
