As we have went around town recently on bicycle excursions, car rides and simply running errands around the community, we’ve noticed something along the way.
There are multiple signs across the town of Wallaceburg, still being displayed – yet the business or organization is either not operating anymore, has closed, has moved, or simply does not exist.
We’ve compiled our Top 10 list below, and we plan on digging deeper into what the future holds for each of these particular locations.

does anyone remember?..the Central school had a time capsule under that corner brick block structure .. will it be open anytime soon? ..any info wud be appreciated 🙂
At least four of these buildings will end up falling down due to neglect. The owners simply don’t care to sell at prices that would reflect the market in Wallaceburg. Then, we, the taxpayers, will be forced to pay for the destruction and removal leaving another blank spot on our local canvas.
