UPDATE: Entegrus officials say an equipment failure, specifically a tree falling on a feeder, was to blame for the outage.
Officials say the outage lasted approximately 10 minutes and effected 481 customers.

A power outage took place in Wallaceburg this afternoon at around 1:40 p.m.
The power came back on at 1:48 p.m. approximately.
Officials with Entegrus have confirmed that power has been restored to all customers in Wallaceburg.
We are still awaiting word for what caused the outage and how many people were effected.
