Earlier this month, the Chatham-Kent Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit became involved in an investigation surrounding the accessing and possession of child pornography.
Yesterday, police executed a search warrant at a residence in Wheatley. A laptop computer, desktop computer, external hard drive and numerous external storage devices were seized for analysis.
A 59 year-old man from Wheatley was arrested and has been charged with accessing child pornography and possessing child pornography.
He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
