A free community children’s event is set to take place in Port Lambton on Saturday, June 6, running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Macdonald Park.
The event will feature a kids bike rodeo along with a range of family-friendly activities, including an obstacle course, face painting, bike decorating and snow cones, as well as additional fun activities throughout the day.
Organizers say prizes will be available, including a bike, along with hot dogs and beverages for participants and families attending the event.
The free event is being hosted by the Sombra Township Optimists, who are encouraging families to come out for a morning of outdoor activities and community engagement.
