Elzeor Caron of Port Lambton

imageElzeor Rudolph Caron, a lifelong resident of Port Lambton, died peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the age of 87.

Elzeor is the son of the late Ozias Napoleon & Rosemarie Victoria (Desmarais) Caron.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Lucille (Laprise) in 2011.

Loving father of Joan Clardy (Bill), Marcia Benton (Ray), Claudette Caron, Dan Caron (Shelley) and the late Gregory (1975).

Dear grandfather of Bill Benton (Mike), Dawn Reynolds (Jamie), Raquel Ajda, Erol and Kenan Incili, Marcel Caron, Matthew Wiens (Alise) and Sheldon Wiens (Eva) and great grandfather of Walker, Tayler, Allison, Reese Emma, Jeffrey, Caden William.

Brother of Rosemarie Lozon (Bernard ‘Bun’) and the late Raoul ‘Mike’, Loretta (John Lee), Sylvio (Florine), Edmund (Doreen), Neil (Theresa) and Norvin.

Elzeor farmed the Thornyhurst area where he was also known as ‘Baler’ as he sold hay & straw for over 60 years.

He was a member of OFA, the Goose Valley Hunt Club and the 4th degree Knights of Columbus.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Sunday.

K of C prayers at 7 PM.

The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Port Lambton on Monday, July 28 at 11 AM.

Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia or the Inn of the Good Shepherd, Sarnia may be left at the funeral home. 519.627.3231.
