In July and August of 2014, the Internet Child Exploitation Unit’s from the Chatham-Kent Police Service became involved in an investigation surrounding the accessing, possessing and making child pornography available.
On the 12th day of August 2014, a search warrant was executed at a Thames Street Address in Chatham.
As a result of that warrant, 63-year old was arrested and charged with accessing child pornography, possessing of child pornography and making child pornography available.
One laptop computer, two desktop computers, one external hard drive and numerous external storage devices were seized for analysis.
He was released on a promise to appear with a number of conditions.
