Impaired driving charges laid after motorcycle crash

Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a single vehicle motorcycle collision on August 14, 2014 around 8:40 p.m. on southbound Oil Heritage Road near Rokeby Line.

The OPP investigation indicates that the operator of the motorcycle lost control while negotiating a curve.

Two males were taken by Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to hospital where one male, the passenger from the motorcycle, was treated and released.

Subsequent to the traffic investigation, Lambton OPP has charged a 40-year-old man from Petrolia, with Impaired Driving, and Driving Over the Legal Limit.

The driver has a Sarnia court date of September 15, 2014.

There is no further information on the driver’s injuries.
