On Sunday the 24th of August 2014 at about 1:00 a.m. Chatham-Kent Police responded to a motor vehicle collision on Queens Line between the Dillon Road and Bloomfield Road.
The collision involved two vehicles, a Ford Freestar van and a Ford Mustang.
Both involved drivers were the lone occupants of the vehicles and both were transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance via land ambulance.
A 20-year-old male driver from Wallaceburg was treated and released.
The 46-year-old female from Windsor was transferred to the London Health Sciences Center (Victoria Hospital) with life threatening injuries.
The female driver of the Mustang later succumbed to her injuries.
