Lionel James Carter, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at Fairfield Park on Tuesday, September 02, 2014 at the age of 88.
Lionel is the son of the late Ted and Lillian Carter.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Marie on May 28, 2014.
Loving father of Janice McLeod (the late Ian), Lynn Carter (Martha), Wendy Denning (Ron), Randy Carter (Mary) and Kevin Carter (Dina).
Dear grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 4 ½ great grandchildren.
Brother of the late Phyllis. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM on Thursday.
Parish prayers at 3:30 Thursday. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Friday, September 5 at 11 AM.
Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the Alzheimer Society or Breast Cancer may be left at the funeral home.
