The Dresden Kings finished the pre-season on a high note yesterday.
They topped the Alvinston Flyers 3-2.
The Kings were down 2-0 at one point in the third period, before they scored three unanswered goals.
David Vergeer, Ross Krieger scored and Derrick Van Every netted the winner.
Steven Taylor made 43 saves for the victory.
The Kings get their regular season under way on Friday, Sept. 12 when they welcome the Flyers to town.
Puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
