DeNijs, Louisa Florentina Marie (Van Esbroeck) former resident of Wallaceburg died peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Saturday, September 6, 2014, surrounded by her family, at the age of 88.
Born in Hengstdijk, The Netherlands, loving daughter of the late Edwardus and Amelia VanEsbroeck.
Predeceased by her loving husband, Edmundus (1990).
Beloved mother of Emily Bottema (Bauke), Ed (Betty), Marilyn Trudell (David), Nancy Crowe (Scott), Leo (Rachelle), Jacqueline Cameron (Pete), Tony (Christine), Jennifer Stoop (Frank), Karen (Marlee), Wendy Kirwin (Chris) and Mark (Kim).
It is with fond memories that Oma will be remembered by Sacha, Jenny (Drew), Nathan (Leticia) and Carl; Robert (Erin), Christopher (Kara), Angelique and Beth; Patricia (Aaron), Michael, Paul, Joseph and Laura; Lindsay (Pete), Stephen (Alice) and Matthew; Michelle (Anthony); Zachary, Ryne, Anneke and Alec; Sophia, Abigail and Esther; Keith, Chantal and Denyse; Patrick, Megan, Katie and Jillian; Landon, Cameron and Addison, and 9 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her granddaughter, Denyse J. Stoop (1991), two sisters and four brothers.
Survived by two sisters-in-law in Canada, Ann Van Esbroeck (Ed) and Theresa Denys (Alec) as well as nieces and nephews in Canada and numerous relatives in the Netherlands.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2014.
Parish Prayers at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Holy Family Church, 647 Murray St. Wallaceburg on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
