The United Way of Chatham-Kent have set their fundraising goals in the various communities across Chatham-Kent.
The target in Wallaceburg is $110,174, while the target sits at $91,000 in Dresden.
Overall in Chatham-Kent, campaign co-chairs Dean and Margery Muharrem said they are hoping to raise $1,900,000.
“For months we have visited agencies, met with early donors and connected with many of the individuals and families your donations will help support,” stated Margery Muharrem.”
The Muharrem’s made a trip last week around the municipality meeting with supporters, volunteers, agency representatives and donors.
They are looking to find 150 “Everyday Heroes” to donate $365 or $1 a day to help with the fundraising.
