Suisham makes Steelers history in win

Wallaceburg’s Shaun Suisham put himself in the Pittsburgh Steelers record books in a win over the Carolina Panthers.

With a 45-yd field goal just before the half ended, Suisham set a Steelers record for most consecutive field goals made with 23.

The streak dates back to November of last year.

Suisham continued his perfect start to the season in the 37-19 win.

He was 3-3 on field goals, all in the first half (42, 24 and 45 yards.)

Suisham was also perfect on extra points, connecting on four in the second half.

On the season, Suisham is a perfect 8-8 on field goal attempts.

Suisham and the Steelers will be back in action next Sunday when they host Tampa Bay.
