Window smashed at Wallaceburg business

The week did not get off to a good start for a Wallaceburg business owner.

When Scott Bowen went to work this morning at his business – The Glass Guru on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg – he noticed the front window smashed in.

Once inside he noticed that his laptops, iPad and other items were stolen as well.

The total cost of damage to the window is approximately $1,000 while the stolen items are valued in total between $3,000 and $4,000.

The forensics team with the Chatham-Kent Police Service were at the scene today gathering evidence.

Police officials told the Sydenham Current there were no details available yet about the incident.
