Outstanding warrants and bail violations across Chatham-Kent

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On the morning of Tuesday, April 30, 2024, a 32-year-old woman from Chatham was located by police in the area of Park Street in Chatham and arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant. She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held for a bail hearing before a judge.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, around 2:30 p.m., in the area of Queen Street in Chatham, a 31-year-old man from Chatham was observed failing to comply with his release order by associating with a female party he was not supposed to. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, around 9 p.m., a 38-year-old woman from Chatham was reported by a local business for acting suspicious on their premises. Upon police arrival, an officer identified her as the suspect in an ongoing fraud investigation. She was arrested for one count of fraud and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking. Upon review, it was learned that she was also on a release order from outside of Chatham-Kent and was failing to comply with one of her conditions. As a result, she was charged with one count of fraud, one count of failing to comply with a release order, and held for a bail hearing before a judge.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At approximately midnight on May 1, 2024, a 33-year-old man from Wallaceburg, known to police from previous involvement, was located by a general patrol officer in the area of Wallace Street in Wallaceburg and arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and held for a bail hearing before a judge.
