Wallaceburg woman charged with stunt driving

Yesterday afternoon an officer was conducting radar enforcement on Erieau Road in response to complaints of speeding in the area.

At 2:33 p.m. ‎he clocked a vehicle traveling 125km/h in the 60km/h zone. The female driver was transporting an adult male passenger and two young toddlers.

A 47-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been charged with stunt driving.

Her driver’s license was immediately suspended for 7 days and her vehicle was impounded for 7 days in accordance with Ontario’s vehicle impoundment program.

She is scheduled to appear in court in November.

The Chatham-Kent Police remind motorists to obey all posted speed limits to ensure our roads remain safe for all users.
