Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith was back with the Boston Bruins for another pre-season game in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins.
Griffith took advantage of the time in the spotlight once again, scoring one goal and assisting on another in a 6-1 Boston win over the Islanders.
Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced earlier today that the team recalled four forwards, including Griffith, along with a pair of defenceman, from the Providence Bruins for tonight’s game in Bridgeport, CT against the New York Islanders.
The Bruins are set to play their final pre-season game tomorrow night in Boston, when they host the Detroit Red Wings.
Griffith is most likely set to be sent back down to the AHL with the Providence Bruins, before the regular season starts on Wednesday.
