Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith is back in the NHL.

The Boston Bruin’s rookie was sent down to the AHL on Sunday morning, played with the Providence Bruins on Sunday night, and was recalled this morning back to Boston.

Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, Monday, October 20, that the club has recalled forward Seth Griffith from Providence.

Griffith will join Boston for their 10:30 a.m. practice at Ristuccia Arena on Monday.

Griffith has skated in three games for Boston during the 2014-15 season.

In three games with the Providence Bruins this season, Griffith has two goals with a plus-three rating. Last year, Griffith skated in 69 games with Providence and scored 20 goals (tied for third) and notched 30 assists (third on the team) for a total of 50 points (second on the team).

He also skated in 12 playoff games with Providence accruing four goals and seven assists.

According to the Bruins Twitter feed, Griffith was skating on the top line with Milan Lucic and David Krejci during practice today.

The Bruins play tomorrow at home against San Jose.
