Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith is heading back to the American Hockey League after a brief stay in the NHL.
Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced on Sunday that the club assigned Griffith along with fellow forward Ryan Spooner to Providence.
Griffith has skated in three games for Boston during the 2014-15 season.
He was minus two with four shots on net in his three games, averaging about 15 minutes of ice time.
Last season Griffith tallied 20 goals and 30 assists in 69 games with Providence.
